Trump Claims Xi and Putin Pledged No Weapons to Iran

In a Truth Social post, Trump said Chinese President Xi made the pledge during their May summit in Beijing, and he trusts the Chinese leader based on their relationship.

Russian President Putin gave a similar assurance, despite Russia's Ukraine war, while Trump noted he sells arms only to paying NATO allies.

This comes amid the ongoing U.S.-Israel war with Iran, triggered by February airstrikes on nuclear sites, with Iran retaliating via missiles and drones—including a July 17 attack in Jordan that killed three U.S. service members—though U.S. intelligence reports Russia and China providing indirect support like satellite data and chemicals.
