On
Saturday, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka kicked off his Ukombozi tour in
Garissa, joined by Eugene Wamalwa and Justin Muturi, drawing massive crowds
calling for a new direction under the United Alternative Government and WANTAM
movement.
Youths reportedly hurled stones during Nyali MP Mohamed Ali's speech, with allegations pointing to Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale's associates, but supporters pushed through undeterred.
Musyoka declared no idea whose time has come stops for stones or teargas, while Muturi labeled it an attempted assassination and called for investigation. The tour moves to Tana River on Sunday amid 2027 election buildup.
