Kenya's Deputy President Kindiki Warns Gachagua to Back Off

The sharp exchange followed violent clashes at a United Democratic Alliance meeting in Embu County's Nembure Stadium, where one person died, several were injured, and Kindiki had to be evacuated amid battles between youths and police.

Gachagua, now leading the Democratic Congress Party after his impeachment, blamed Kindiki for ordering the crackdown and shared a claimed WhatsApp message.

Kindiki fired back using nicknames like 'Wamitego' for Gachagua and his own 'FAYA MAN' slogan, escalating their long-running feud from the Mount Kenya region ahead of future elections.
