During the
'Komboa Kenya' or 'Wantam' campaign tour in Kenya's North Eastern region on
Saturday, vehicles were damaged with cracked windscreens and possible bullet
marks, prompting Democratic Party leader Justin Muturi to call it an attempted
assassination.
Kalonzo thanked Garissa residents for their strong support and resolve against intimidation, vowing the movement would continue.
The clashes coincided with separate unrest in Embu County, where one person died and six vehicles burned amid disruptions at a Deputy President Kithure Kindiki event, underscoring rising political tensions.
