September 17, during a development tour in Homa Bay County's Sindo area,
President William Ruto accused retired President Uhuru Kenyatta of undermining
his Kenya Kwanza government for four years through demonstrations and
opposition support.
Ruto
referenced their past partnership, claiming he backed Kenyatta in elections but
got no return after an alleged 10-year deal, and compared Kenyatta's actions to
those of a rebel leader.
