It comes amid an ongoing EACC graft probe involving a KSh 382 million tender, following raids on his properties last month.Speaker Thaddeus Nyabaro confirmed the vote and said his office will notify Senate Speaker Amason Kingi immediately for hearings, where Nyaribo's fate will be decided within 14 days. If upheld, Deputy Governor Ezekiel Onchiri takes over.This marks Nyaribo's third impeachment bid in three years – previous attempts in 2023 and 2024 failed by one vote each.
