Jubilee Party Appoints Ole Kenta as New Secretary General

Kenya's Jubilee Party reshuffled its leadership on Thursday, naming former Narok North MP Richard Moitalel Ole Kenta as Secretary General and moving Jeremiah Kioni to Deputy Party Leader for Operations. The National Executive Council approved the moves to rebuild structures before the 2027 election, praising Ole Kenta's legal background, anti-corruption stance, and public service roles. Kioni will now handle grassroots efforts with Deputy Leader Fred Matiang'i, while other positions filled include Zack Kinuthia as Deputy Secretary General and Yassin Noor Haji as National Organizing Secretary. Party members celebrated the unity, though a graphic error listing Ole Kenta as Kajiado North MP drew online mockery from critics.
