Manchester City
appointed Enzo Maresca on a three-year contract until June 2029, following Pep
Guardiola's departure after a decade and 20 major trophies.
The 46-year-old
previously won Premier League 2 with City's youth team and assisted during the
2022-23 Treble, calling the club a 'dream situation' for its innovative
approach.
He resigned abruptly from Chelsea mid-2025-26 season amid their struggles, apologizing for the disruption while Chelsea blamed his exit and received £17 million compensation from City; they replaced him with Xabi Alonso.
