Former Presidents Unite for Obama Presidential Center Opening in Chicago

Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Joe Biden, and the Obamas gathered Thursday in Chicago's Jackson Park for the grand opening of the 19-acre Obama Presidential Center, a museum, library, playground, and gardens hub designed to inspire civic engagement on the South Side where Obama started organizing over 40 years ago.

Obama praised bipartisan figures like Mitt Romney and John McCain, while Michelle highlighted achievements from economic recovery to the Bin Laden raid, drawing laughs with a nod to his Nobel Peace Prize.

Performers including Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, and John Legend lit up the stage, with the museum opening to the public Friday on Juneteenth amid a mix of unity, light-hearted moments like Biden's granddaughter quip, and some partisan reactions.
