IRGC Warns of Strait of Hormuz Closure Amid Lebanon Strikes and U.S. Talks Delay

The warnings came hours after Israeli airstrikes hit southern Lebanon in response to a Hezbollah drone attack that killed four soldiers, with Lebanon reporting at least 18 deaths and risking a fragile ceasefire.

This follows a U.S.-Iran memorandum signed June 15 to end their war, reopen the oil chokepoint, and start nuclear talks, but Iran calls the Lebanon fighting and U.S. presence violations.

 U.S. Vice President JD Vance postponed Friday's technical negotiations in Switzerland, as shipping traffic stays low at 25 vessels—down from over 100 daily—and oil prices tick up near $90 a barrel.
