Gachagua Urges Kenyan Gen Z to Skip June 25 Protests

Gachagua, now heading the Democracy for Citizens Party, claimed intelligence shows the government readying goons and police for a crackdown during June 25 memorials marking the 2024 Finance Bill storming of Parliament, where 19 died from police gunfire.

 He called staying off streets a smart strategy toward 2027 elections, not surrender.

While leaders like Kalonzo Musyoka push turnout and some youth plan quiet remembrances, officials promise protection for peace but firmness against chaos.
