Vice President Vance rebuked
Israeli cabinet members Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich for slamming
President Trump's new memorandum of understanding with Iran, which calls for an
end to hostilities—including between Israel and Hezbollah—and sets up nuclear
talks.
He stressed that Trump is Israel's
sole sympathetic global leader, pointing to massive U.S. aid like two-thirds of
its defensive weapons built and paid for by America.
The deal includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz and sanctions relief, but Israel worries it weakens its stance against Iran-backed groups, with Netanyahu staying quieter amid the friction.
