The system is implemented in three
phases: Phase I (KSh7.9 billion) covers 25 junctions and establishes a Traffic
Management Centre; Phase II (KSh13 billion) expands to 60 additional junctions;
Phase III (KSh24 billion) extends to 125 more junctions for full citywide
integration.
It features real-time traffic monitoring, signal coordination, smart traffic lights, and illegal parking detection to reduce congestion, improve road safety, and enhance urban mobility in Nairobi.
