Kenyans Find Voter Details Missing from IEBC Portal Amid Upgrade

Users entered their ID numbers on verify.iebc.or.ke only to see 'Search results not found' for details that appeared recently.

 IEBC explained the issue as a temporary suspension for a routine ICT system upgrade, affecting online searches, transfers, and updates while in-person services continue at constituency offices, Huduma Centres, and Anniversary Towers.

The commission noted similar glitches during Continuous Voter Registration, where polling details may show as 'Not Applicable' until streams are finalized, and urged voters to visit local offices with ID for confirmation.
