U.S. Central Command Conducts Offensive Strikes on Iranian Military Targets Near Strait of Hormuz

U.S. Central Command struck dozens of Iranian military air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats at multiple locations near the Strait of Hormuz to degrade Iran's ability to attack international shipping.

The operation marked the first use of one-way attack sea drones alongside fighter aircraft, naval vessels, and one-way attack aerial drones.

Iran responded with IRGC missile and drone strikes on Jordan's Prince Hassan Air Base, some of which Jordan intercepted.
