The
operation targeted command centers, air defenses, missile launchers, and more
to protect commercial shipping carrying 20% of the world's oil trade.
This
follows Iran's June 25 attacks on vessels, sparking U.S. retaliation that has
now claimed around 17 American lives, including recent losses in Jordan and
Iraq.
