U.S. Central Command Hits Iranian Targets for Ninth Night

The operation targeted command centers, air defenses, missile launchers, and more to protect commercial shipping carrying 20% of the world's oil trade.

This follows Iran's June 25 attacks on vessels, sparking U.S. retaliation that has now claimed around 17 American lives, including recent losses in Jordan and Iraq.

President Trump called the strikes an honor to fallen service members, claiming U.S. control of the strait amid rising oil prices over $90 a barrel and no ceasefire in view.
