Hassan Khomeini, grandson of Iran's
founding Supreme Leader, spoke at an event with President Masoud Pezeshkian and
urged the IRGC to step down in favor of a U.S. agreement.
He likened it to the 628 CE Treaty of
Hudaybiyyah, where a truce with Mecca's Quraysh allowed Muslims to regroup and
later triumph, arguing diplomacy can yield greater victories than endless wars.
