Ipswich Town Secures Enciso and Ouattara in £50M Double Deal

The club is finalizing permanent signings of Paraguayan midfielder Julio Enciso from Brighton for around £26 million and versatile 20-year-old Abdoul Ouattara from Strasbourg for about €20 million plus add-ons, pushing the total near £50 million.

Enciso, 22, has passed his medical and will ink a five-year deal, reuniting with manager Gary O’Neil from their Strasbourg days; he scored twice in 13 games during his 2024/25 loan at Ipswich.

These moves mark the 12th and 13th summer signings, with spending topping £150 million as the promoted side gears up for their Premier League opener against Sunderland.
