Iraqi
authorities confirmed Tuesday that tankers carrying the nation's crude oil
successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz, a major global shipping
chokepoint.
The Oil Ministry reported this as shipments
resuming, with Oil Minister Bassem Mohammed Khudair noting ongoing talks with
Iran to secure smooth passage.
