The Matungu
Technical and Vocational College project in Kakamega County is already creating
casual jobs for youth and opportunities for women supplying water and
essentials to workers.
Residents such as Elizabeth Auma Ekesa note it
eases family budgets by cutting travel costs to distant schools, while land
values rise in anticipation of future growth.
Once finished, the college will offer local courses in plumbing, tailoring, and trades, helping young people build independent lives and boosting the regional economy.
