The moment
happened over the weekend in Kilgoris, Narok County, following Charlene Ruto's
traditional Kalenjin engagement ceremony with fiancé Isaya Yunge, attended by
family, friends, and guests like Chivayo.
After the festivities, Ruto drove the couple
about three kilometers to the helipad, with Chivayo in the front passenger seat
and his wife in the back.
Chivayo shared a detailed post praising Ruto's humility and kindness, and videos of the drive spread quickly online. While many saw it as a warm gesture of close ties, others expressed surprise about the president's relationship with the Zimbabwean philanthropist.
