Safaricom is
slashing M-PESA business charges by up to half from August 1, 2026, easing
costs for Pochi la Biashara, Lipa na M-PESA Buy Goods, and till transfers.
Pochi la Biashara now offers free payments up
to Sh200 until October, with tiered fees like Sh7 for Sh201–500 and a Sh50 cap
for larger amounts.
Lipa na M-PESA Buy Goods raises its free
threshold to Sh500 from August 7, while till-to-mobile transfers drop from Sh90
to Sh45 for Sh10,000.
