Tesla's Full Self-Driving Demos Thrill Swiss Drivers

Tesla launched Full Self-Driving (Supervised) ride-along events in mid-August across Swiss cities like Zurich and Bern, running through September under a trial permit.

Participants rode in the back seat while a Tesla employee drove, experiencing the Level 2+ system that manages steering, acceleration, braking, and even precise parking on highways and in traffic.

Drivers praised its smooth, life-saving performance in real-world conditions, with one calling it thrilling and far superior to human reflexes, though some prefer the joy of manual driving or a simple taxi ride.

As demos continue, attention turns to potential full approval in Switzerland and broader Europe.
