The Kenyan
government spent KSh30.69 billion on domestic and foreign travel in the
2025-2026 financial year, up KSh5.2 billion from the previous year, according
to Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakang’o's report.
Domestic trips took KSh21.98 billion, foreign KSh8.71 billion, with State House as the top spender at KSh2.5 billion and the Deputy President's office at KSh655 million.
