Iran's army
will upgrade the range, speed, and precision of its missiles following a review
of the recent war with the United States. The decision addresses U.S. forces
now positioned up to 1,000 kilometers from Iran's shores, requiring
longer-reaching weapons.
Existing missiles struck targets in Kuwait and enemy vessels at sea, proving effective, and work on improvements for land-based and naval systems has already begun. Tehran views the changes as a defensive step amid regional tensions after strikes and a ceasefire.
