Inspector General Douglas Kanja
warned goons and gangs across Kenya that they will be dealt with according to
the law and given no space to operate.
The statement follows a church
service disruption at ACK Cathedral in Kisumu involving violence against Siaya
Governor James Orengo and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna of the Linda Mwananchi
movement, with accusations against state officials including Interior Principal
Secretary Raymond Omollo.
Separately, 14 suspects were arraigned in court over violence and unrest in Kisumu and Nyahururu, including an incident targeting a Linda Mwananchi event in Nyahururu.
