Kenyan Court Grants Detectives Three Days to Hold Halima Ngache Over Ruto Flight Posts

Detectives arrested Mombasa resident Halima Ngache, known online as Princess Halima, on June 30 for allegedly running an X account that shared President William Ruto's flight details, like his trip from Belgium to Norway with aircraft numbers.

The DCI calls it cyber harassment and a security risk, seizing her phones, tablet, laptop, and flash drives; a court gave them three days for forensics instead of the seven requested.

Ngache denies running the account, noting it kept tweeting during her transport from Mombasa, while critics argue the flight data comes from public sources like Flightradar24 used for transparency on public funds.
