Chinese Robot Sprints 100m in 9.39 Seconds, Beats Bolt's Record

At the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, which opened Saturday with over 2,000 robots from 16 countries, a Chinese machine shattered the 100-meter human record of 9.58 seconds.

The same model had clocked 21.50 seconds just a year ago, showing huge strides in robotics.

Robots also tackled high jumps, football, and boxing, with one pulling off a Ronaldo celebration after scoring, while others marched in sync or crashed at the finish line.
