The former
High Court judge, appointed in 2011 and who served in the commercial division
at Milimani, passed away early Saturday while being rushed to Makindu Hospital
in Makueni County after collapsing late Friday at the family’s home in
Kithasyu.
His wife, Kibwezi East MP Jessica Mbalu, confirmed the news, prompting tributes from President William Ruto, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, and others who praised his judicial legacy and offered prayers for the family.
The sudden illness followed a day when he appeared well, and his body now rests at Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi as funeral details emerge.
