Nation interview, Ruto detailed his personal efforts to partner with former
President Uhuru Kenyatta for national unity post-2022 elections, including
trips to Ichaweri home and State House talks.
He urged
Uhuru to act as an elder statesman beyond politics, but Uhuru rejected the
overtures and backed opposition against Ruto's government.
