Accord for a Healthier World initiative.
The pact cuts prices more than seven times for treatments of nine major cancers, including breast, lung, and prostate, making Kenya's KSh 800,000 SHA cancer package fully cover costs without patient extras.
Officials like Dr Ouma Oluga called it a revolutionary milestone initiated in 2025, while public views mixed praise for affordability with questions on Pfizer's past controversies. The move supports Kenya's push for universal health coverage and local manufacturing.
