Russian Strikes Ignite Fires at Ukraine's Odesa Ports

Russian forces targeted ports in Ukraine’s Odesa region, hitting cargo ships in the Black Sea and facilities in Chornomorsk, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry, which described the action as disrupting military supply lines with Geran-4 drones. Ukrainian reports noted damage to Kernel’s agricultural facilities, Ukraine’s top sunflower oil and grain exporter, amid widespread fires and explosions visible from roads and the city.

The attacks continue a pattern of strikes on Black Sea ports that have hampered Ukraine’s grain and oil exports, with emergency services responding as fires burned into the evening. Claims from both sides remain unverified.
