Former Deputy President Rigathi
Gachagua criticized IEBC Chairperson Erastus Ethekon for alleging bribery by
voters and threatening to postpone or cancel the Ol Kalou by-election while
ignoring bribery by state officials using cash, Government of Kenya mattresses,
and gas cylinders.
Gachagua accused the state of
sensing defeat and using IEBC to delay the poll.
Separately, former Senior Presidential Adviser Moses Kuria announced distribution of 3,000 day-old chicks across five wards in Ol Kalou Constituency, drawing accusations of voter bribery.
