Gachagua Accuses IEBC of Pre-Rigging 2027 Election Tender

Gachagua claims the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has predetermined the winner of a tender for the Integrated Elections Management System, favoring South Korean company Miru Systems despite the September 1 deadline.

He alleges officials met with Miru to access the voter database and create a new register that suppresses opposition voices, citing the firm's past election issues in Argentina, the Philippines, and the DRC.

A Kenyan firm has challenged the process at the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board, but IEBC has not responded and Gachagua offered no evidence.
