Kamkunji MP
Yusuf Hassan Abdi, who has represented his constituency since 2011, left the
Jubilee Party to join Rigathi Gachagua’s Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP)
during a lively event in Nairobi.
He was
welcomed alongside recent defectors from Nairobi constituencies like Starehe,
Embakasi South, and others, boosting DCP's grassroots strength ahead of the
2027 election.
