Haaland Scores and Misses Penalty in Derby Draw

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland scored for the third consecutive game against rivals Liverpool but also missed a penalty in the first half of Sunday's Premier League clash at the Etihad. The match ended in a thrilling draw, with both teams sharing the points.
The Norwegian international, who committed his long-term future to the club with a new contract earlier this year, had a mixed performance. He was denied from the penalty spot by a stellar save from Liverpool's goalkeeper just 13 minutes in. However, the prolific forward redeemed himself just over a quarter of an hour later, heading in a cross to give City the lead.
The match was a fierce contest, with Haaland's performance once again being the central talking point. While his penalty miss drew some attention, his overall goal-scoring form remains exceptional, with some experts suggesting he is on a path to challenge goalscoring records held by footballing legends.
Despite the result, Haaland's goal-scoring prowess continues to be a crucial asset for Manchester City. The striker recently returned from international duty with Norway, and his early exit was not due to injury, ensuring his availability for the high-stakes clash against Liverpool
