Kenya's Orange Democratic Movement Kicks Off 20th Anniversary in Mombasa Without Raila Odinga.

Kenya's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has launched its three-day 20th anniversary celebrations in Mombasa from November 14 to 16, honoring the late founder Raila Odinga and the party's contributions to democracy and social justice, including its role in the 2010 constitution. Supporters traveled from Nairobi on a festive Madaraka Express train led by party leaders like Gladys Wanga, with President William Ruto, a founding member, set to attend alongside other pioneers, while former President Uhuru Kenyatta declined. The event features youth forums at Fort Jesus, a waterfront rally, and reflections on ODM's legacy, amid criticism over Ruto's Ksh 1 million donation for youth travel.
