The Orange Democratic Movement began its three-day 20th anniversary celebrations in Mombasa on November 14, 2025, honoring founder Raila Odinga's legacy following his earlier death this year. The National Governing Council ratified Dr. Oburu Odinga as Party Leader, Gladys Wanga as National Chairperson, and other key officials including Deputy Party Leaders Abdulswamad Nassir, Simba Arati, and Godfrey Osotsi. Thousands of delegates traveled via special SGR trains, blending tributes, speeches, and cultural events to reaffirm commitments to democracy and social justice while boosting the local economy.
