 Trevoh Chalobah headed Chelsea ahead early in the second half from a corner, but Arsenal leveled when Mikel Merino nodded in a Bukayo Saka cross. The game turned in the 38th minute when Moisés Caicedo received a straight red for a studs-up lunge on Merino, leaving Chelsea short-handed. Despite the numerical disadvantage, they frustrated Arsenal and extended their unbeaten run to seven games. Arsenal remain top with 30 points, five clear of third-placed Chelsea on 24.
