 Amad Diallo opened the scoring for United in the 13th minute, but Antoine Semenyo equalized before halftime, where Casemiro headed in to make it 2-1. The second half kicked off with Evanilson's quick strike for 2-2, followed by Marcus Tavernier's stunning free-kick to put Bournemouth ahead 3-2.

Bruno Fernandes leveled with a sublime free-kick in the 77th, Matheus Cunha tapped in two minutes later for 4-3, but sub Eli Junior Kroupi equalized in the 84th. Fernandes earned player of the match with his 12th goal contribution, while Rúben Amorim praised the attack but stressed team defending needs work amid AFCON absences ahead.
