Kenyan Poll Shows 74% See Country Heading Wrong Way

TIFA's survey from May 2-11 questioned 2,013 adults across all 47 counties, revealing the highest negativity since tracking began, up from mixed 2023 views. 

Economic woes lead the charge: 64% of households feel worse off since the 2022 election, 75% decry recent fuel hikes, and top worries include inflation at 47% and unemployment at 23%. 

Distrust runs deep in Ruto (45% lack confidence), police, parliament, and elections body, with poor marks on taxes, healthcare, and more—even Mt. Kenya shows 89% pessimism.
