At Nkarusha Seventh-Day
Adventist Church, Ruto vowed to work tirelessly to fulfill what he sees as
God's will for his presidency, brushing off holiday suggestions amid a packed
schedule.
Leaders from his party and opposition ODM,
including Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, attended and backed his re-election
bid, countering 'Wantam' chants calling for one term.
Wanga declared those critics don't know Ruto's God, while he urged Kenyans to embrace hard work like South Korea and Singapore to build the nation. The event highlighted faith's deep role in Kenyan politics and warming ties with ODM ahead of 2027.
