Tourist Plane Crash-Lands Safely at Maasai Mara Airstrip

The single-engine Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, carrying three tourists headed to Naibor Campsite, suffered a tyre burst during landing at the remote Maasai Mara airstrip.

Videos captured the white aircraft with tail up in the air, registration 5Y-SOP, operated by Aberdare Aviation. Narok County Police Commander Patrick Lobolia confirmed no injuries, praising the quick evacuation by uniformed personnel and the Kenya Wildlife Service.

Officials are investigating amid Maasai Mara's rugged terrain challenges for bush flights.
