U.S. Strikes Iranian Targets for Seventh Night in Strait of Hormuz Escalation

President Trump directed precision strikes that destroyed a surveillance tower at Chabahar's Shahid Kalantari Port and severed bridges and rail links in Hormozgan province, targeting IRGC networks threatening commercial shipping.

The operations, now in their seventh straight night since July 7, respond to Iran's attacks on tankers despite a June ceasefire in the 2026 war that began with strikes killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran reports 14 deaths and 78 injuries from recent hits, including civilians on bridges, while the U.S. denies targeting non-combatants and highlights disruptions to IRGC logistics amid ongoing naval blockade and retaliatory missile fire on Gulf allies.
