Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched missile and drone attacks on U.S. military sites in Iraq, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, claiming hits on maintenance centers, warehouses, fuel tanks, and radar systems that killed several U.S. personnel.
U.S. and partner forces intercepted some projectiles, reporting limited damage and no casualties at certain spots. The operations came as retaliation for prior U.S. strikes, including one at a wedding in southern Iran, while the U.S. hit two Iranian oil tankers under a new policy to protect shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
