Kenya By-Election Candidate Seth Panyako Arrested Amid Violence Claims.

In Kenya's Malava parliamentary by-election to replace the late MP Malulu Injendi, Democratic Action Party candidate Seth Panyako alleged goons assaulted his campaign at Kaburengu Down Hill Hotel, injuring agents, destroying property, and torching a vehicle. His party called it an assassination attempt to derail their efforts, while rival David Ndakwa dismissed the claims and focused on turnout. Panyako voted at St. Joseph's Lunyu K Primary School before his arrest at Malava Police Station; voting continues across 198 stations with results expected later Thursday.
