Ruto Heads to G7 Summit to Champion Africa's Priorities

The G7 Summit kicks off June 15-17 in Évian-les-Bains, France, with leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US tackling economic imbalances, trade, climate, and security.

Ruto joins as one of two African leaders alongside Egypt's Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, aiming to push for global financial reforms, fairer resource access, climate funding, and debt relief.

While supporters celebrate Kenya's rising diplomatic role, critics online question if he truly speaks for the whole continent.
