KUCCPS Places Record 293,869 Students for 2026/2027 University and College Spots

At The Edge Convention Centre, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba announced placements for 293,869 students from the 2025 KCSE class—a huge jump from 72,338 in 2014—across degrees, diplomas, and TVET programs.

Of these, 202,133 got university degrees, while 81% of C+ qualifiers were placed, thanks to expanded slots like 322,396 in public universities and new criteria removing program barriers.

 Students check results on the KUCCPS portal using their KCSE index and birth certificate, with HELB loans now open and inter-university transfers extended to a month.
