Kenya’s
President William Ruto presided over the 59th Passing-Out Parade in Embakasi,
Nairobi, where the graduates showcased disciplined drills and received his
charge to uphold professionalism, human rights, and public trust in preserving
peace.
The event honored fallen officers with a wreath-laying, celebrated Kenya's Haiti mission veterans through a flag handover, and highlighted reforms like 252 new police stations, 10,000 trained officers, salary hikes, and modern barracks.
Ruto stressed that true authority stems from the Constitution, urging the recruits to stay impartial and community-focused amid efforts to combat banditry, terrorism, and border threats.
