China Sanctions U.S. Entities Over Drone and Robot Restrictions

China imposed sanctions on six U.S. entities and tightened export controls on drones and key components, directly responding to recent American bans on Chinese-made humanoid robots, robot dogs, and solar inverters.

U.S. actions stemmed from national security risks flagged by the FCC and forced-labor concerns raised by DHS, adding to the ongoing U.S.-China tech trade tensions.

The measures heighten uncertainty for global supply chains as both sides continue layering restrictions in this escalating dispute.
